The Work

Yes. Every photograph on this website is work carried out by 1989 Homes. We do not use stock photography and we do not borrow other people's portfolios, which is unfortunately common in this trade. If you want to see a job in person we can usually arrange it with the owner.

Yes. We would rather you did. Ask us and we will put you in touch with somebody who has had similar work done, and we will not pick the one job that went perfectly. Our Google and Trustpilot reviews are all real people you can look up.

We are based in Hucknall and cover all of Nottinghamshire, most of Derbyshire and up towards Chesterfield, roughly 50 miles out. Beyond that it depends on the size of the job. Ask, and we will give you a straight answer rather than waste your time.

From a knock through and a new kitchen right up to a full house build from foundations. Extensions are the specialism and the bulk of what we do. If a job is too big or too small for us to do properly, we will tell you rather than take it on and struggle.

That is usually more useful than a finished photograph, because it shows you how we work rather than how we photograph. We normally have something on site and can arrange a visit if the owner is happy with it.
